Darby House

Iconic Auckland landmark building sensitively repainted in traditional enamels for wooden frames and windows and breathable paint for all stonework.

Incredibly this facade had its magnificent brickwork painted sometime during the 60's or 70's. Fortunately a master tradesman Graham Ball oversaw the paint stripping that rejuvenated this beautiful structure.

Despite all stonework appearing natural in appearance, the actual effect was created using paint infused with natural pigments allowing it to appear as it was over 100 years ago!
